Swimming

Morzine boasts its own water park set in a sunny location comprising of an open air Olympic-sized swimming pool, children's pool, flume, volleyball court, lawns, children's games area, and bar/restaurant with terrace.

There are two mountain lakes ideal for swimming within walking distance of Morzine, as well as plunge pools and waterfalls to swim in and explore.

Tennis

Morzine has 11 all-weather tennis courts including two clay courts, as well as a tennis club serving drinks and snacks. An open tournament is held each week during the summer. It is open to everyone and the winner becomes Morzine champion for the week!

Courts are available by the hour and rackets can be hired. Coaching is also available.

Golf

Within 15 minutes drive of Morzine there are two courses, an 18-hole golf course in Les Gets and a 9-hole course in Avoriaz. Les Gets is a magnificent par 70, 18-hole course set at 1,500m of altitude.

Five other courses are within 75 minutes drive. These are Annecy, Megève, Chamonix, Flaine and the Royal Club at Evian, overlooking Lake Geneva and one of the finest courses in France. You can play as often as you wish, or mix golf with some of the other sports on offer. Green fees vary from £20-£50, clubs can be hired and pros are available for coaching. Walking

We are passionate walkers ourselves and can offer some of the most spectacular and exciting walks imaginable. The Portes du Soleil and mountain ranges beyond offers infinite possibilities. These range from easy walks from your accommodation, medium walks to the Swiss border, and high glacier treks around Mont Blanc. Many of the lifts in the Portes du Soleil operate during the summer months to give you easy access into the mountains. We can guide medium-level walks ourselves and provide qualified local guides for high-level treks. Toboggan run

Morzine has a brand-new, purpose built luge with two lanes for a fast and 'not so fast' descent. You take the chairlift up and make the 900m descent on specially designed toboggans, remembering to use your brakes! Great fun for all the family!

Adventure park

High in the trees but perfectly safe, this airborne adventure designed for older children and teenagers is quite unique. Take on challenges to push your limits on Tarzan leaps, climbs, walkways, death slides and rope bridges. Between sky and ground, the park allows you in total security to romp around on more than 86 games spread over 4 different circuits of ever-increasing difficulty (yellow, green, red and black). One of the best adventure parks in France.

Indiana park

Gangways, bridges, ladders, tarzan swings… a safe way of being an adventurer and discovering the forest. The circuit takes approximately 2 hours and is fantastic fun for all the family, particularly younger children.

Horse riding

The Morzine Dérêches riding centre offers a large range of equestrian activities. Accompanied rides for all levels follow numerous trails through beautiful mountain scenery, making for truly memorable riding. For children and beginners from 5 years old, awareness / saddling sessions in the paddock are available. For the over 3s, the centre offers Pony rides along the forest paths.

Ice-skating

This impressive indoor rink is used for public skating and plays host to Morzine's national league ice hockey team.

Mountainboarding

After an initiation from your instructor it’s fast and furious fun all the way. Gain altitude using the ski lift but remember to use your brakes!
