				A discovery week into a land of peace and tranquillity. This is a gentle, relaxing holiday enjoying the delights of the Haute-Savoie.

The week can be tailor-made to the groups' personal interests, and allows time for sampling some of the other activities available in and around Morzine.

There are many beautiful places to visit within an hour's drive of Morzine. Some of our most popular day trips are:

	Chamonix & Mont Blanc
	A day's visit to the town of Chamonix at the foot of Europe's highest mountain, Mont Blanc. You have the option of taking either the mountain funicular railway to the Mer de Glace to explore the glacier, or the world’s highest cable car to the top of the Aiguille du Midi, at an altitude of 3842m. On a clear day the views of Mont Blanc and the surrounding mountains are simply awe-inspiring. Chamonix also has an excellent golf course plus a large choice of shops and restaurants.

Lake Geneva

In the morning we visit the beautiful flower-strewn medieval town of Yvoire on Lake Geneva. After lunch (maybe sampling the local freshwater speciality, filet de perche), we can either drive to Evian via the Chateau de Ripaille (well known for its vineyards), or take an afternoon steamer following the lakeshore. At Evian you can either explore the beautiful town and its lakeside or maybe even the leisure area or casino!

	Lake Annecy Nestling beneath the snow-capped peaks of the Aravis range, Annecy possesses a splendid lakeside setting. Declared in a class of its own in the national prizes for French towns in bloom, Annecy is an historic town of cobbled streets, tiled roofs and beautiful canals. A morning exploring the old town and an afternoon boat trip are highly recommended.


	Samoëns and Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval We pass over a spectacular mountain pass with wonderful views of Mont Blanc to visit the protected village of Samoëns and its famous alpine gardens. From Samoëns we move on to the Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval National Park for an afternoon's easy-guided walk of approximately 5 miles beneath some of the most spectacular scenery in the Alps. There is time to relax and for the brave, to have a swim in one of the bracing plunge pools Our half-day trips include: - Visit to lake Montriond, the old goat village of Les Linderets and the futuristic ski resort of Avoriaz. - Visit to the charming Abondance valley, its ancient working abbey and the fromagerie, home of Abondance cheese. - Guided walk through the spectacular Devil's Bridge Gorge.
